Knoxville’s Team Rowcliffe finished in first place again for the 2008 fund raising year. Team members raised over $68,000 in new contributions. Pictured above are fund drive workers who individually raised over $20,000 in new contributions in 2008, including Knoxville Team Rowcliffe captains Gary and Sandra Rowcliffe, the second couple from the right in the above picture. This site provides accurate and up to date information about VASF policies. John Ward is well known for his exuberant phrase "It's Football Time In Tennessee" well, it's now "Donation Time in Tennessee", as current and new donors have until to donate to the VASF and nail down their seats in Neyland Stadium next Fall, in time to see the reigning National and SEC Champions defend our titles. The VASF is a University of Tennessee support organization consisting of donors to the intercollegiate athletic program. There are several levels of membership based on the amount contributed on an annual basis. The funds raised are used to provide scholarships for student-athletics, as well as assist in the maintenance and improvement of Tennessee varsity athletic facilities. Why is money needed you ask? The University of Tennessee is committed to a first class athletic program, but the price is high. That's where you the donor come in! Your donations, which are 80% tax deductible (consult your tax advisor), are used for: Scholarship costs, Equipment, uniforms, salaries, maintenance and everything else involved in making The University of Tennessee first class.
